Hi all,

Thought I'd better finally update this journal although I don't come on here much anymore. I started uni in September last year and am studying English, having a great time. Currently living in halls but me and three friends have recently secured a house for next year which I'm excited about! Passed my driving test on second attempt in October. Don't have as much time to do art anymore (and am also sick to death of random Deviants insulting me and my work for no good reason) but have been home for the Easter break for three weeks and have started a theme of interpretations of Nightwish songs so there'll probably be the odd submission and comments will be read so please feel free to leave me some!

Seeing as I seem to have overcome my artists' block (for now anyway) I thought I'd finally update my journal on here. I don't get as many comments as I used to cos I've been so inactive recently but a big thank you to everyone who has and sorry if I haven't replied. I also seem to be continuing to get lots of faves so many thanks for those too.

Brief update on my life: I took my A levels in June and they didn't go that well but I got my place at Bedford University to study English so I'm really pleased I got a B in English (yay!) but Es in biology and history which sucks but meh. My last shift at Budgens the supermarket where I work is Sunday 2nd September and on the 22nd I begin uni life in brand new accommodation! Am very nervous but looking forward to it lots.

Oh yes and how could I forget, I have my driving test on Monday (20th) so wish me luck! I'll certainly need it!

Just thought I'd better leave a journal to say that I've pretty much left DeviantART because I don't do as much drawing as I used to and don't have as much time to look at other people's work etc. I'll still probably continue to upload any pieces into my gallery that I want to share though, so my page won't be completely dead. I'm no longer using my ~fishcam or ~simpsons-club accounts.

Also, I DO log in every now and again to check my messages so if you leave a comment on my work I will read it and I really appreciate it when people take the time to have a look and leave me feedback.

Thanks to everyone who's supported me and I hope you'll still look at my work if you've got time.

On a different note, my fave website, [link], are looking for models and I was thinking of applying - before you laugh, it does say they're looking for size 8 to 12 (ie not anorexic types!) - because I have black hair and piercings and can SOMETIMES be very photogenic lol. They sell really funky goth/punk style clothes - check it out! Would be awesome to pose about in clothes I'd never have the guts to wear in real life haha. Hope you don't think I'm stupid
