This is the beautiful Liv Kristine. I was already a fan of her former band Theatre Of Tragedy (who apparently now have a new vocalist) and have recently discovered her new band, Leaves' Eyes and currently have their album on order...I'm sure it's gonna be good!
At first I really hated this but it actually came out quite well, although I'm not sure I've managed to capture her as well as the others, probably cos I haven't seen many pictures of her. It was also quite a challenge drawing a blonde woman and making her look a bit gothic. Her hair came out surprisingly well considering I was dreading trying to capture her white blonde tones and I'm rubbish at hair anyway.
Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
