Hi all,

Thought I'd better finally update this journal although I don't come on here much anymore. I started uni in September last year and am studying English, having a great time. Currently living in halls but me and three friends have recently secured a house for next year which I'm excited about! Passed my driving test on second attempt in October. Don't have as much time to do art anymore (and am also sick to death of random Deviants insulting me and my work for no good reason) but have been home for the Easter break for three weeks and have started a theme of interpretations of Nightwish songs so there'll probably be the odd submission and comments will be read so please feel free to leave me some! :)

If you were someone like me, who has been with them ever since they first came out, you would probably be just like those people who hate them now. They've changed so much, gotten so much softer, it's amazing - and not in a good way. Since you just got into them like a year ago, I'm guessing you got hooked to their newer stuff first and then back tracked to their older album, before they hooked up with Jay-Z.
Crawling is my favorite song from them... I'm gonna do a tribute to that song someday, I won't leave dA until I do. :3

Lol I agree totally. No I haven't visited their website but I haven't heard a thing about them here in the UK in AGES. Everyone seems to hate them now though. :( Except I nearly died of happiness when the video for Crawling came on a 'Headbanger Countdown' on one of the music channels recently lol. :heart:
